# NoData

> NoData is an information access processor for AI agents. Every request an agent makes for data is decided by a policy the data owner sets, keys are released per request, and every decision (a denial included) leaves a signed receipt that can be verified.

Agents act through an MCP server and a CLI, both in the npm package `@nodatachat/mcp`. Developers call the Fabric API, described in OpenAPI 3.1.
